Full-time experienced accounts assistant (ideally with 2+ years' experience) required for our busy office. The successful applicant will interact daily with the company's Finance Team. Enjoying a varied role, you will get involved with bank reconciliations and month-end activities, organising sales reports and preparing bordereaux statements.

As an Accounts Assistant, your role will entail:

  • Posting bank statements to Access Dimensions accounting software
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Reconciling reports including sales premiums
  • Posting sales and purchase invoices to Access Dimensions accounting software
  • Preparing commission payment files and Direct Debit collection files on Eazy EFT
  • Dealing with call centre queries and processing payments/refunds on Global Payments
  • Reconciling and filing supplier statements
  • Preparation of general journals monthly
  • Monitor Chargebacks

To be considered, you also must:

  • Have at least two year's plus accounts experience
  • Possess strong MS office skills particularly with Excel
  • Be a team player with ability to work on your own initiative
  • Possess fluent English - both written and orally
  • Possess strong analytical and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
