We are looking for an energetic, customer focused, ambitious professional to join the Finance team. This role will support the Reconciliations Manager, has a broad remit, with growth opportunities for the right candidate. Our initial commercial focus will be on Ireland and the UK, but we will be quickly building our European footprint.

The Role

Full-time experienced accounts assistant (ideally with 2+ years' experience) is required for our busy office in Blanchardstown. The successful applicant will interact daily with the company's Finance Team.

Enjoying a varied role, you will get involved with bank reconciliations and month-end activities, organising sales reports, and preparing underwriters' bordereaux statements.

As an Accounts Assistant, your role will entail:

• Reconciling reports including sales premiums
• Posting sales and purchase invoices
• Posting bank statements
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Preparing commission payment files and Direct Debit collection files on Eazy EFT
• Dealing with call centre queries and processing payments/refunds on Global Payments
• Reconciling and filing supplier statements
• Preparation of general journals monthly
• Monitor Chargebacks

To be considered, you also must:

• Have at least two year's plus accounts experience
• Possess strong MS office skills particularly with Excel
• Be a team player with ability to work on your own initiative
• Possess fluent English – both written and orally
• Possess strong analytical and organisational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• Good attention to detail

This is a full-time role with remuneration commensurate to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate and is located in our head office: Blanchardstown Corporate Park 2, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
