Accounts Payable specialist – Part-time
Part-time experienced Accounts Payable specialist (ideally with 2+ years' experience) required for busy insurance office. The successful applicant will interact daily with the company's Finance Team.
As an Accounts Payable specialist, your role will entail:
- Monitoring Accounts mailbox daily.
- Printing invoices and getting authorisation from department managers.
- Posting purchase invoices to Access Dimensions accounting software.
- Preparing payments and electronic transfers in iBusiness Banking.
- Preparing commission payment files and Direct Debit collection files on Eazy EFT.
- Reconciling and filing supplier statements.
- Posting bank statements to Access Dimensions accounting software.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
To be considered, you must:
- Have at least two year's plus accounts experience, preferably AP / VAT experience.
- Possess strong MS office skills, particularly with Excel.
- Be a team player with ability to work on your own initiative.
- Possess fluent English – both written and orally.
- Possess strong analytical and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Good attention to details.
