Cover-More Blue Insurance Services Limited offers significant discounts on our Annual Multi Trip and Single Trip policies for Insured Persons with VHI, Laya or Aviva Private Health Insurance policies. Your Private Health Insurance policy must include a minimum of €55,000 of inpatient medical cover abroad. If your Private Health Insurance policy includes this select 'Yes' in the 'Private Health Insurance' box on our website home page. Our Travel Insurance policy will provide the same benefits as on our standard policy, but it recognises that you already have cover on your Private Health Insurance policy for inpatient medical expenses abroad up to a specific limit (Min €55,000). Our Travel Insurance policy will top up the amount to the overseas medical expenses limit on your Private Health Insurance policy allowing you to save money on travel insurance premiums without sacrificing cover.
Please note that not all Private Health Insurance Plans provide a minimum of €55,000 of inpatient medical cover abroad. Please check with your Private Health Insurance provider to ensure you have adequate cover to be eligible for this discount. If you cancel or fail to renew your Private Health Insurance policy, it is your responsibility to contact us as soon as is reasonably possible to update your Travel Insurance policy details and ensure you have sufficient cover. Any Private Health Insurance discount you received will be removed from the Travel Insurance policy and you may also be required to contact the Medical Screening Line to declare any medical conditions you or anyone named on your Travel Insurance policy has/has had.
