Accounts Executive
Blue Insurance in Blanchardstown Corporate Park 2, Dublin15 is a leading insurance supplier. An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Accounts Executive to join their team on a 6-month contract.
Within this award-winning company, the successful candidate will have the chance to put their accounts experience to the test and will join a culture of quality service and exceptional customer support.
The successful applicant will interact daily with the company’s accounting staff and financial controller, in a busy office environment.
Enjoying a varied role, you will get involved with month-end balance sheet reconciliations, cash and bank reconciliations, organising commission sales reports and preparing bordereaux statements.
Key Duties /Responsibilities:
- Posting bank statements to Access Dimensions accounting software
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Reconciling reports including sales premiums
- Posting sales and purchase invoices to Access Dimensions accounting software
- Preparing commission payment files and Direct Debit collection files on Eazy EFT
- Dealing with call centre queries and processing payments/refunds on Realex
- Analysing Accruals and Prepayments
- Maintaining Fixed Assets register
- Reconciling and filing supplier statements
- Preparation of general journals monthly
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Other ad-hoc duties
To be considered, you must:
- Have three year's accounts experience
- Possess strong MS office skills particularly with Excel
- Be a team player with ability to work on your own initiative
- Possess fluent English – both written and orally
- Possess strong analytical and organisational abilities
- Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Experience of using the ACCESS accounts package would be beneficial but this is not essential.
